The international athletics federation IAAF has now ratified the world record mark of 2:03:38 hrs by Kenyan Patrick Makau at the BMW Berlin Marathon on September 25, 2011
Also ratified was Makau's world record for 30 km as a split time of the same marathon.
The next BMW BERLIN MARATHON takes place on September 30th, 2012. All of the 40.000 entries have sold out already. Certified travel agents have a few spots left in connection with travel arrangements.
