Race report: Santa Dash 2011 – Sunday 4th December, in aid of CancerCare
The countdown to Christmas got into full swing this weekend with nearly 80 CancerCare supporters kitted out in Father Christmas suits and reindeer antlers dashing through the streets of Lancaster.
They ran, jogged, walked, danced, rolled and jingled their way from Salt Ayre Sports Centre into Market Square. The Mayor of Lancaster, Paul Woodruff also showed his support. Ludus Dance and Bay Beat Carnival Band got everyone moving!
Every penny raised will help to support local people affected by in North Lancashire and South Lakeland, we hope to raise in the region of £2,000.
The organisers wish to thankin particular: The Bay, St Nicholas Arcade, Market Gate Shopping Centre, The Runners Centre, Bowland Water, Hartley Hire... the list goes on and there are too many to mention here but they are very grateful for the generosity of all our supporters and volunteers.
