AudioFuel release their new Running Music iPhone App

The NEW AudioFuel Running Music iPhone App provides a unique combination of coaching, music and real time GPS tracking

The world’s first iPhone App to combine running music, coaching and performance data has been released by AudioFuel.

The AudioFuel Running Music app promises to help runners of any level to meet their improvement goals by tracking their performance in terms of distance, duration, pace and calories, while running to high tempo music that has a beat to match their stride.

“We know that lots of runners like to exercise to music, but we’ve noticed a new trend for smartphone apps that use GPS functionality to provide useful performance data. We’ve decided to put these things together – along with coaching – into a unique iPhone app for the first time,” says AudioFuel Founder, Sean Blair.

“What’s more, we’ve added social media tools within the app, so AudioFuel runners can update their friends on Facebook and Twitter. There’s no better source of motivation than support from your peers!”

AudioFuel compiles its custom composed music tracks to create specific types of training programme – for example, Interval Training sessions that alternate sprints with recovery tracks. The programmes are then combined with voice over coaching. Once the app has been downloaded, the user can choose from fourteen different programmes.

First the user indicates whether they want a low (walking) or a mid (jogging) or a high (running) intensity session. Then they choose the type of programme they are looking for: a steady tempo 20, 30, 40 or 60 minute Timed Session; or an Interval Training session or a two hour Long Run Marathon training programme.
