Nike Running launches free weekly Run Club at the new Westfield Stratford City Store
On Thursday, October 13, Nike launched a free weekly Nike+ Run Club from the new Westfield Stratford City store, offering runners of all levels the chance to hit the streets with the store’s expert running team. To celebrate, local runners joined marathon world record holder Paula Radcliffe in-store for an exclusive Q & A, followed by a 5K run through the streets of East London.
Nike+ Run Clubs are an inspiring way for the ever expanding Nike Running community to stay motivated. Departing from the Stratford store every Monday and Thursday at 6.30pm, the weekly sessions are led by trained Nike Pacesetters. Runners can choose from a variety of distances and whether they want to train in mixed or women-only sessions. The end result is that no matter what their training goal, they will always get a bespoke and premium experience.
The Stratford City store is spread across two floors and houses the latest cutting-edge Nike footwear and apparel. The Running and Women’s Training spaces on the ground floor include Nike specialists who are on hand to offer Gait Analysis and expert advice, helping runners to find their perfect footwear and apparel. The first floor houses Nike’s Football and Basketball ranges, with the Football space offering a number of services including shirt printing and embroidery.
The ground floor Women’s Training space also offers free in-store Nike Training Club workout sessions led by Nike Master Trainers, every Monday at 6.30pm.
