The Brighton Marathon Training Days – 2012

For the last two editions of the Brighton Marathon the organisers have hosted training days in the build up to race day. The training days were available to all standards of runner from absolute beginners to experienced Marathon runners.

For Brighton Marathon 2012 they are planning on holding two training days held at the official Brighton Marathon race hotel - The Hilton Brighton Metropole. The two dates in October and January are for all abilities of runner and will provide up to date information and answers to any questions you have on the event next April. Experts will present to you about your training, your diet, how to stay injury free and give advice on how to train through the winter.

This time round there will be tailored sessions towards different finishing goals. If you are new to running or are looking at completing the Brighton Marathon in 5 to 6 hours then the morning session is for you. If you have run a Marathon before or are looking for a finishing time of under 4hrs 30, then the afternoon session is for you.

There will be goody bags for all attendees, including some goodies from event partners Powerade, ICONIQ and CLIF Bar. The official sportswear partner Saucony and the Brighton Marathon Store will be at each of the training days to answer any questions you have on your running gait and training shoes. There will also be an opportunity to try on the exclusive Brighton Marathon running range. And finally their official physiotherapist partner Body Rehab Studios will have a team of Physios at each day to help answer any questions you have on previous running injuries and offer advice on how to stay injury free.
