50 years and still running

Walsh Sports has achieved the milestone of 50 years continued sports footwear production here in the UK an achievement no other current company can claim

Real British heritage doesn’t get any more genuine than Walsh.

Norman Walsh established the business in 1961 as a specialised manufacturer of Athletics footwear. His skills have been recognised around the world well known names such as Sir Chris Bonnington (Mountaineer), Allan Border (Australian cricket captain), Rob Hope (British Hill running champion 2007/8/9) have chosen to wear Walsh and have praised there performance and comfort.

It is a great achievement for the company especially in this competitive market of sports footwear. Walsh continues to grow steadily developing on its Athletics success with the introduction of casual styles of footwear and clothing that are available in exclusive retailers within Europe and the Far East (Google Walsh x Bauhaus). Walsh has also produced footwear collaborations with designer’s Sir Paul Smith and Margaret Howell.
