Tipped to be the first British runner in the 2011 Virgin London Marathon in April, Andrew Lemoncello was hoping to better his PB and qualify for the 2012 Olympic marathon at the race.
He spoke to Run247 at the marathon exhibition on the eve of the race about his build up and hopes for the race.
The race did not quite go to plan for Andrew Lemonello and he missed the Olympic qualifyng time but crossed the line in 15th place overall in 2 hours 15 minutes and 24 seconds, the second quickest time over the distance by a British runner so far this year (the fastest being Lee Merrien's 2:14:27at London).
