Hamstreet 10K - Sunday June 12, 2011

Hamstreet, Romney Marsh, near Ashford. The run is mainly off road in and around Hamstreet Woods and is supporting Hamstreet Primary School - with nice weather this will be a beautiful, scenic run.

3rd Staplehurst Carnival & Fete 10K - Sunday June 26, 2011

Nice Work takes over organising the 3rd Staplehurst Carnival & Fete 10K. The race has been switched from Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning this year and its fast and flat road course makes it an ideal event to try for a pb.

12th Bewl 15 - Sunday July 3, 2011

By Wadhurst Runners – a Sussex Grand Prix event, the race has been voted one of the best in the country and an early entry is advised.

Rye Summer Classic Series - starting Friday July 15, 2011

This popular series attracts a wide range of abilities with super fast runners lining up with beginners and those just looking for a gentle Friday night run out. There are three races – two 5Ks and a 10K, with the 10K kicking off the series

New summer series events

Samphire Hoe - Wednesday June 1, 2011

A new four-race 5K summer evening series taking place near Dover. This brand new Summer evening series takes place in the unique setting of Samphire Hoe - a nationally important and protected landscape in the shadow of the iconic White Cliffs of Dover. Samphire Hoe is one of the few places that you can truly appreciate the drama of the White Cliffs. Great care has been taken to make the landscape at Samphire Hoe fit in this dramatic setting. The series comprises three fast and flat 5K races with a special Finals Night featuring an end of series 5K plus a feature race for the fastest 20 runners from the first three races competing for a cash prize. The course should be super-fast, but would suit runners of all standards including beginners

Ashford Summer 5K Series in Victoria Park, Ashford - Friday July 1, 2011

The races take place in a traffic free park setting. The fast and slightly undulating course makes this event ideal for setting a new 5K pb – and it’s great too for beginners or those simply looking for a short evening run. The three race series is supporting St Theresa’s Primary School in the town and further races take place in July and August.

Further details of all our races can be found on our website www.nice-work.org.uk. Note that all our races also feature support events for younger runners.
