As the winter months start to ebb away, people all across the country will be digging out those trainers and starting to pound the streets once again and thankfully a brand new unique playlist will be hitting the stores on March 14th to help; ‘The Workout Mix 5K & 10K Playlists.’

Universal Music, creators of The Workout Mix 2011; the number 1 fitness compilation, have packed this running soundtrack with the biggest artists and the top energy boosting tracks, making the likes of Lady Gaga, Taio Cruz, Black Eyed Peas, Cheryl Cole and The Saturdays your personal running buddies, motivating you every step of the way!

The Workout Mix 5k & 10k Playlists have been created by both music experts and fitness professionals who have handpicked fresh, modern mixes of energy-boosting tracks to supercharge your running training. Get ready for two hours of uplifting tracks and motivating beats, plus additional bonus features designed to help you through challenging training sessions.

Running Guru and music fan Matt Roberts has created a 5k training plan to accompany The Workout Mix’s brand new running album. Matt is responsible for getting the nation flab free and for some of the most famous celebrity physiques such as The Saturdays, Naomi Campbell, John Galliano and Amanda Holden. He is also the first choice of trainer to our top man David Cameron so we know we are in safe hands!

Matt says '"My programme is simple and easy to follow and is specially designed to help beginners get running. It is sometimes hard to get started but by using this plan and listening to the running specific playlists on The Workout Mix 5k & 10k playlists, you’ll have all the tools and motivation you need.”

The mix consists of two thirty minute 5k playlists and a sixty minute 10k playlist. All the playlists include a warm up, a full training playlist and a cool down. The album also includes a FREE 5 day gym pass to any Fitness First as well as Matt Roberts exclusive 5K training plan so there is no excuse not to dust off the running shoes and get moving.

The Workout Mix 5K & 10K Playlists is available on iTunes for just £5.99 from March 14th.
