With just under 10 weeks to go until thousands of runners line up to take part in the 31st Virgin London Marathon, Team GB marathon runner Liz Yelling has put together the official training plan from adidas to get you through these final few months.
The expertly designed plan is available to download for free at www.miCoach.com and syncs up with adidas’ miCoach app, which turns your smart phone (iPhone & Blackberry) into a personal coach, helping you to achieve your running and fitness goals.
As well as being a Commonwealth Games medalist and two-time Olympic Marathon runner, Yelling coaches runners of all abilities and has designed this plan to cater for people regardless of what stage their marathon training is at.
"The plan is designed to cater for all different types of runner, whether it’s your very first marathon, or you are going for a PB. It will help provide you with the support and motivation you need to get through the most grueling months of training. The plan is designed to help you realise your marathon aspirations and have some fun along the way.” Says Yelling.
